Seeking members of Sahad family in Al Bayda, Syria
Hello, everyone, My name is Charlotte, and I am seeking family in Al Bayda, Syria. I am the grand daughter of Moses Habib Sahad. Al Bayda, as I have just learned, was his birthplace. It is my understanding that there is still family there. Moses immigrated to the USA; his brother, Elias, and his sister, Rafa, went to Argentina in the very early 1900's. There was one other brother, whose name I do not know, who remained in Syria. I have found and reconnected with family in Argentina. I would very much like to find my family in Syria. While this is a large, wonderful family in Argentina, my family name died with my brother, here in the states. I and a cousin are the only two left.
If anyone can help me, I would be most grateful. Even information as to how I might find birth documents, etc. would be so helpful. I am sorry that I do not speak/write Arabic. Mais, je peut parler en francais, si necessaire!
